Graduate Employee (GE) Appointments
Graduate Employee positions are available on a competitive basis at The Ballmer Institute. GE awards include a full tuition remission, health insurance, and a competitive monthly stipend. Positions within the Institute are typically posted between late February to early March. The number of GE positions available is subject to the budgetary constraints on the Institute and the University. Appointments are typically available during the academic year only (Fall, Winter, and Spring Terms). Appointments for Summer Term GEs are determined as funding opportunities become available.
All GE positions are posted for a minimum of 10 business days prior to the committee reviewing applications. GE selection processes are quite competitive as these positions are in high demand. In order to ensure consideration students are encouraged to apply within the first 10 business days of a position being posted.
