Cody Gion joined the Ballmer Institute as an Assistant Clinical Professor in July of 2023. Cody holds a Master's Degree in School Psychology and a doctorate in Special Education from the University of Oregon. He has extensive experience working in schools to support children's behavioral health. He has supported children and families within diverse school-based settings as a school psychologist and a special education administrator. Cody is focused on serving the Portland community through collaborative and inclusive approaches. He is excited to train aspiring child behavioral health specialists and serve the larger Portland community.
In his personal time, Cody is active and takes every chance he can get to spend time with his friends and family. He enjoys getting outside golfing and paddle boarding. He loves going back to Montana to spend time on his family's ranch. Cody and his wife Courtney love entertaining their friends and family and take every opportunity to keep life interesting.
