Angie Whalen is the School Psychology Program Director, and a Clinical Professor/Practicum Coordinator of School Psychology. She is a board licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist, with experience working in diverse urban and rural public school settings. Dr. Whalen coordinates the Oregon TSPC school psychologist licensure program, provides clinical supervision for school- and clinic-based practicum experiences, and advises specialist-level students. Her teaching and scholarship interests include professional practices in school psychology, ethics and advocacy, theory and practice of clinical supervision, and MTSS/problem-solving. Prior to joining the University of Oregon faculty in 2003, Dr. Whalen was a school psychologist and staff development trainer at Heartland Area Education Agency 11, and a school psychologist/counselor and data/literacy coach at Vancouver Public Schools.
