Heather Leonard is a lecturer in the Family and Human Services and Prevention Science programs in the College of Education. Her current research interests focus on adolescent health and well-being, and the role of parents in assisting teens establish healthy habits. Her dissertation examined the relationship between early parenting, child self-regulation, and adolescent allostatic load.
