Executive Director of Development

Anna Mulcahy serves as Executive Director of Development for the Ballmer Institute for Children's Behavioral Health at the University of Oregon. A member of the university's Development Leadership Team, she provides strategic fundraising leadership for the Ballmer Institute while partnering across the university to advance institutional priorities and maximize philanthropic impact.

A mission-driven fundraising strategist with more than 15 years of experience in higher education and academic medicine, Anna builds partnerships to advance bold, interdisciplinary initiatives that address complex societal challenges. She has extensive experience securing principal and major gifts, launching new fundraising initiatives, and helping organizations translate ambitious ideas into compelling philanthropic opportunities.

Prior to joining the Ballmer Institute, Anna served as Senior Associate Director of Development for the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University, where she helped secure funding for the Center for Ethical and Socially Responsible Leadership and the Dashney Women's Leadership Accelerator. She previously held development roles at Oregon Health & Science University Foundation, supporting principal gifts, the Schools of Nursing and Dentistry, and university-wide strategic initiatives, including the OHSU Campus for Rural Health and Moore Institute for Nutrition & Wellness.
