Daniel Guilfoyle

Youth and Education Services Director, NAYA

Daniel Guilfoyle (they/them) is Seneca and a member of Portland’s Urban Native American and Alaska Native community. They have worked in education for more than twenty years. Beginning in 2007 Daniel has been building and managing youth programming at the Native American Youth and Family Center and is currently the Director of Youth and Education Services. 

Since 2015 Daniel has worked alongside culturally based organizations on the Adolescents and Community Together (ACT) project to bring comprehensive, inclusive, medically accurate, trauma informed, and culturally responsive sexual and reproductive health curriculum to the Native American and Alaska Native community in Portland. Currently Daniel serves on the Board of Directors for Cascade AIDS Project to further support a safe and healthy community.
