The Ballmer Institute's One Year Anniversary Note

Gratitude

portland campus

March 1st marks the one-year anniversary of the launch of The Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health at the University of Oregon. As we reflect on this past year, we are filled with gratitude to:

  • Our incredible faculty for designing field-leading and forward-looking academic programs.
  • Our talented staff for establishing the foundation of the institute.
  • Our strong school district partners for enrolling educators in our graduate course sequence and opening their buildings to our faculty and students.
  • And you – Our vast community for your advice, counsel, and cautions that have improved our work immeasurably and will continue to do so for years to come.

Although this is just the beginning, we want to acknowledge the many local and national organizations who took time to meet with our leadership. The list of professional organizations, civic and community groups, licensure and accreditation bodies, and behavioral health care providers appended below is just a sampling. Although we did not include the numerous individuals, UO internal stakeholders, businesses, legislators, and government and community leaders who have supported our efforts, we are equally grateful to you.

We look forward to your continued support as we pursue the important work ahead.

Thank You!
