Emily joined the Ballmer Institute in Fall 2026 as Clinical Training Coordinator. Her career has been dedicated to improving families’ quality of life by increasing community access to compassionate, evidence-based support services and treatment providers, and she is thrilled to support the Ballmer Institute’s mission to do the same.
Prior to her current role, Emily worked with the University of Washington’s College of Education as a fieldwork supervisor for graduate students earning practicum hours as behavioral support specialists in schools and clinics. She also founded a therapy services company specializing in play-based early intervention for children with autism diagnoses, serving as its Director of Operations from 2019 to 2026.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lewis & Clark College and a Master of Education in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Washington. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
